US demand for natural gas continues to increase at a rapid pace while North American production has peaked. Almost 40 new competing LNG receiving terminals have been proposed to address the growing gas supply shortfall. The LNG industry will depend on the financial community to provide support for debt and underwrite the risks associated with these projects.
LNG projects are among the most expensive and complicated energy projects, with unique pitfalls and risks. This event will provide a review of the critical issues surrounding the development and financing of a US LNG receiving terminal. Short presentations will be followed by opportunities for the audience to raise various issues, concerns, and questions during this unique first-of-its-kind opportunity.
This seminar will focus on key issues and factors affecting the investment and lending community. Special emphasis is on Comprehensive Risk Assessment Management and Mitigation Strategy for LNG terminals. All delegates will have first hand exposure to LNG experts and also participate in discussing key areas of concern.
Please plan to attend the reception immediately after the seminar.
