Since his ordination to the priesthood in 1991 Fr. John Corapi has traveled over 2,000,000 miles preaching the Gospel. He has preached in 49 of the 50 states, all of the Canadian provinces except Newfoundland, and several other foreign countries. As many of you know, Fr. Corapi stopped traveling to events and conferences in 2007 to pursue other avenues of preaching and teaching the Catholic faith by way of the means of social communication: television, radio, the internet, and various other multi-media formats. Fr. Corapi currently preaches a weekly internet video program he broadcasts from his website called "Weekly Wisdom with Father John Corapi", has made many radio and television appearances, and is currently working on production of several major video/audio series, including large projects such as "Lessons from My Favorite Saints" and "The Letters of St. Paul". Fr. Corapi is also working on several new books, and a revision of his doctoral thesis on the nature of redemptive suffering.
As busy as Fr. Corapi has been, we thought then we might never have the opportunity to bring Father Corapi back to Western New York, but the Holy Spirit prompted us to invite Father back to Buffalo to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Buffalo Catholic Radio in August of '09. To our surprise and delight Father not only accepted our invitation but granted Buffalo his exclusive public appearance in 2009!
Father will be preaching what he feels will be one of his most powerful presentations ever on the person and power of the Holy Spirit. He will be delivering four exciting and moving sermons for the first and only time at this special conference. Topics will include, "The Theology of the Person and Power of the Holy Spirit", "The Gift that Contains All Gifts", "The Holy Spirit is Given to Those that Obey", and "The Spirit We Have Been Given is No Cowardly Spirit!".
Our guest speaker, EWTN News Director, Raymond Arroyo will share his insights and experiences at the HSBC Arena in downtown Buffalo. The arena will seat up to15,000 for a conference; a number not as large as you may think when you consider Father drew 10,000 last year between Boston and Buffalo, when he had been making public appearances nearly every weekend! Since seating is limited, and this is the ONLY public appearance of Fr. Corapi scheduled in 2009, we expect seating to fill fast.
Needless to say this is a great honor for Catholic radio and a wonderful opportunity for Western New York to host this international event. We are honored to present the incomparable Fr. John Corapi in the premiere appearance preaching his new series on The Power of the Holy Spirit.

Father John Corapi. S.O.L.T.
Father is a perpetually professed priest member of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity.
The pillars of father's preaching are basically three:
• Love for and a relationship with the Blessed Virgin Mary which leads us into a vibrant and loving relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Great love and reverence for the Most Holy Eucharist--from Holy Mass to adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
• An uncompromising love for and obedience to the Holy Father and the teaching of the Magisterium of the Church.
Father Corapi's audio and video series on the Catechism of the Catholic Church entitled The Teaching of Jesus Christ has been widely acclaimed and is used throughout the world as a course in religious education and catechesis.
The essence of Father's message is the essential message of Jesus Christ. It is Good News: a message of truth and goodness, love and mercy. It is above all else a message of hope.
