Goldman Sachs will host its annual New Directions® half-day conference in New York City on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. This conference is intended to provide individuals, who have taken a voluntary career break or "off-ramp", with guidance and coaching on how to make a successful transition back into the workforce. Throughout the conference, participants will gain insight into recent market trends and developments in the industry. In addition, participants will learn strategies for effective career management and receive information on the 2013 Goldman Sachs Returnship® Program, a 10 week "internship-like" program designed for individuals returning to the workforce. For more details on the Returnship Program, please visit the "Returnship Program Details" section of the website.
The New Directions conference agenda will include:
- a career coaching workshop
- a panel discussion with current Goldman Sachs employees who have "on-ramped" through the Goldman Sachs Returnship program
- a networking session with attendees as well as Goldman Sachs managers and recruiters
