Event Details

There’s another great event coming September 28, 2008. Come along to The Bestsellers Brunch at the sumptuous Waldorf=Astoria for a morning of great authors and great food.

Over three hours, authors will read and/or discuss their latest work, then take questions from the audience while enjoying a fantastic Waldorf=Astoria brunch. The reading/discussion/Q&A will be followed by author book signings. All books are free, compliments of the publishers.

You will hear from international bestsellers and Edgar Award winners Lawrence Block (Hit and Run) and Harlan Coben (Hold Tight); Grammy-winning, legendary singer Dionne Warwick (Say a Little Prayer); and Golden Globe-winning actress Marlo Thomas (Free To Be…You and Me).

Plus, you’ll have a chance to meet two debut novelists sure to make an impact on the bestseller list in years to come: Matthew Quick (The Silver Linings Playbook), a former teacher-turned-globetrotter-turned writer, and Rivka Galchen (Atmospheric Disturbances), a medical school graduate who’s worked on public health issues in South America.

We are pleased to announce the event will be moderated by Carol Fitzgerald, President of The Book Reporter Network. http://www.bookreporter.com/

If you want to be the first to have heard from literature’s up-and-coming stars, then the Waldorf=Astoria is the place to be on September 28th.

Tickets are $99 each and include:
