Spend the day learning all about eBay from Marsha Collier, author of "eBay for Dummies" and "Starting an eBay Business for Dummies". She will show you the ins and outs of eBay. Also, learn from Jim Griffith, the company's first customer support representative. Now as eBay Ambassador and one of eBay's spokespersons, Jim "Griff" Griffith travels the country and appears on radio and TV programs, providing helpful tips and how to buy and sell online safely and effectively.

Registration opens at 8:00 am with class beginning at 9:00 am sharp. In the morning session, the instructors will concentrate on browsing and buying on eBay. Even if you are an advanced seller, you won’t want to miss the tips and tricks that will be shared, including how to get good deals, issues related to trust and safety, and feedback. The morning session will end with a discussion on basic selling. During the lunch break attendees can take a break or share stories while meeting other community members.

After lunch, the focus of the class will turn to selling. The afternoon session will start with instructions for improving your listings with photos and HTML. The Selling Your Item form will be covered as well as advanced selling techniques to make your auctions more profitable and tips on creating your own eBay Store. The day's session will end with a presentation on Seller Assistant Pro, for the advance seller in all of you. No matter your skill level using eBay, we promise you'll learn something new.

Also, don't miss out on a special opportunity to hear about the relationship between IBM and eBay. Learn what this unique technology can do for your company in very practical terms. Capture insight via case studies of other IBM customers while you explore the different ways e-business can help support new and growing businesses. The time is right for a practical approach to e-business.
